It's not as easy as it first looks to find good internet connection in Peru but whatever it's not what I'm here for. However it did give me some problems updating this journal as I first planned to do so instead I'll just tell you guys what I've done uptil now.

After a month as a volunteer in The Sacred Vally near Cusco (which was one awesome experience!) me and some of my new buddies decided to take a trip to the north of Peru and see som jungle and wild life.
Instead of doing it the boring way - that is flying - we planned to go by boat up the Amazon to Iquitos (a place that can't be reached by car). It took us 4 days. 4 amazing days spend in hammocks on the deck just watching the river and the dolphins that ocasionally decided to pay us a visit.
In Iquitos we spend some days in the jungle until we unfortunately had to head back south again - one of my friends had a plane to catch in Lima. On the way we managed to see som ruins both in Chachapoyas and Trujillo.
Returning to Cusco after a month of travelling felt a bit like being home again. We spend some days shopping for christmas presents on the local markets and just relaxing a bit.
Currently I'm in Puno on the shore of lake Titicaca and plan to spend the next few days here while the Puno-festival is still going strong.
Afterwards we head to Bolivia for a couple of days and then back into Peru to see the south of this beautiful country.
Can't wait to get home and upload some of the photoes I've taken.

Hope you're all doing fine with everything!

In Peru - to the 26th November

Okay, I know I really haven't been active here lately and I sort of promised to do something about it... ah well.
I had planned to take down most of my gallery (or at least scrap it) in order to push me to draw some more (and perhaps upload some of the stuff I actually draw) but now it has been postponed a bit ... again...

I'm going to Peru for 3 months between August the 25th and November 26th!

I'm quite excited, nervous and a bunch of other things - but I'm sure it will be some amazing trip!
I'm travelling with my two friends from school and has planned to partially work with an organization (teaching children English and stuff) and then also travel around Peru.
I hope to get some sketches done while there and take some photos so there'll be something to show when I get back.

That's all for now - talk to you in November! :) (or before if I can find time to update this journal at random internet cafés in Peru).

Again: Sorry for being so silent lately, I promise to do something about that when I get back home. It should be possible now that school is finished for now - at last!

Take care!

Okay. Here goes.
I guess my last journal entry was kind of a joke with me stating that I would "try to catch up with everything" and whatnot. Well, that didn't happen - blame my teachers and school-stuff in general.
I've been kind of busy trying to make it through the rest of the school year which (I admit it) has been tougher than I thought it was going to be. Only 7 classes yet they all seem to think I owe them all my free time and energy. Especially Philosophy, Danish and Social Studies are trying to kill me!
But, ah well, only 17 days left before ultimate freedom (haha! What a joke) so I might as well enjoy what is left of 3 years gymnasium. I'm almost sure I'll miss it when it's all over but right now I just want to be able to relax for once without homework and stuff.

Anyway - enough about me: nothing especially interesting has happened (nothing that I could fit into one journal anyway, and since I assume that you're not interested in me blabbering about my life for eternity I'll just continue)...

I've been lacking the inspiration or motivation to draw lately and since my computer is nowhere near a scanner it will be a while before I've got something interesting to show you all.
In the meanwhile I'll try to focus on your work and actually get some commenting/faving done.

Hopefully, I'll have some more interesting news report in the near future if not school starts to occupy to much of my time again (with the teachers trying to force the last wise words down our throats before everything ends in the beginning of May).

Hope to hear from everyone (if you, like me, are taking a break from everything during Easter)

Time is running

Can't believe I haven't written anything here since September!

Well, I've been very busy and uninspired these last months. School is killing me, and my internet connection got cut - literally. My dad, hit the cable while he was digging or something... not a popular guy now.
Anyway. I'm currently writing my final project for school - serious business - about Stalin and Orwell's "1984". Quite interesting subject, I thought, but after spending months preparing for these two project-weeks my brain has decided to take a break. Really not a good timing.

Anyway, I'm not dead! And this Friday it's time for two weeks of holiday which I plan to spend in front of the computer, trying to catch up with everything here.
So, an apology for not answering comments or commenting on your work - I'll do it soon :D

Have a very nice Christmas everyone!

EDIT: is gone again at least for the next week. Busy as hell with my grandmothers 80th birthday and a funeral (no one really close to me but it's still sad)
I've got something ready to upload as soon as I get some more time ;) Take care!

Just thought I might announce my return to the wonderful world of dA!

Thanks for all the notes (and mails) I've gotten in my absence, and sorry for those I haven't answered just yet.
I've been terribly busy with school lately. My teachers are quite serious about the whole "last year" deal so they expect me to use at least two hours every day doing homework. This may not seem like a lot but with all the other things I want to do my "creative time" is very limited. I'm not sure I'll get more free time but I think I might adjust to the new situation and start doodling again.
Also, on Thursday I start my driving lessons heh. I'm a tiiiny bit scared acutally - wacky!

So, what have you all been up to?
